My name is Gabriel Schüers and I am a massage therapist with over 18 years of experience in the field. In my sessions I offer a holistic approach where I combine my knowledge from Breathwork, Ayurveda, Chinese Medicine, Thai Massage, Visceral Osteopathy and Cranio-Sacral Therapy.
In a world that often prioritizes quick fixes and superficial solutions, I choose to be different. In my practice, I provide a holistic approach to medical massage that honors the complexity and depth of your body.
Treatments
Oil Massage
Oil massage focuses on releasing tension along muscles and trigger points. The treatment consists out of circular movements with hands and palms, firm kneading, elbow stroking and more.
• Especially beneficial for pain and overly tensed muscles around spine, hips and shoulders.
• Oil massage promotes relaxation, postural alignment and a deep relaxation.
• During the treatment you will be laying on a massage table, while being massaged with oil and tiger balm (optional).

Foot Reflexology
Reflexology is a targeted, pressure-point massage that works along reflex zones and meridians. The treatment usually focuses on the feet, but it can also include hands, face and ears.
• Especially beneficial against stress, burnout, insomnia and digestive problems.
• Reflexology supports the natural flow of energy and helps to regulate the systems functions.
• During the treatment you will be laying on a mat or table, wearing comfortable clothes.

Thai Massage
Thai massage is a healing art that combines influences from both Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine. Working along so called “Zen lines” the practitioner focuses on legs, arms, chest, belly and back.
• Especially beneficial against overall tiredness, tension around joints and mental exhaustion.
• Thai massage balances the energy system, improves posture and promotes circulation.
• During the treatment you will be fully clothed laying on a soft mat, while the therapist will gently massage and move your body.

Chi Nei Tsang
Chi Nei Tsang has its origins in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Techniques are applied around the navel, abdomen and diaphragm where stress, tension and negative emotions may have accumulated.
• Helpful during detoxification processes, before or after fasting and stress.
• Chi Nei Tsang helps to rekindle the body’s energy flow and balances the immunsystem.
• During the treatment you lie on your back and are massaged on the abdomen.

Does my insurance cover this treatment?
Depending on your insurance and treatment you can get a refund with up to 100%. I am EMR and VISANA registered and most of the insurances in Switzerland are linked to that register. Simply contact your insurance broker and and inform yourself whether medical Massage is covered in your contract and if yes under which circumstances.
How long does a treatment take?
You have the freedom to choose the duration of your treatment. Usually it takes 60-90min to complete a full bodywork. Please note that when you come for the first time, there will be a 15-30min intake to collect all necessary data and assess the type of treatment your body needs.
Where does the treatment happen?
You will find me in Kreis 3, near Triemli Spital. I have a little and cozy studio at home, overlooking Zurich city.
How do I arrange an appointment?
Simply contact me through email or phone number (mentioned above) and we will find a suitable date and time for your treatment.
Anything I need to bring or prepare?
If you are booking a Thai Massage or Foot Reflexology please bring a pair of comfortable clothes with you. Also make sure to shower before coming to your appointment.
Do you also make home visits?
Under special circumstances I also visit you at your home. There will be an extra charge for travel expenses and time investement, depending on the duration of my travel.
